One of a Kind Show Celebrates 40 years & a Giveaway! #OOAKX14

Back in December of 1975, Toronto hosted the very first One of a Kind show and sale. The idea was simple. Bringing together makers and buyers in search of one of a kind gifts. Now celebrating its 40th Year “OOAK” as it’s affectionately known, is bringing us one of the biggest years yet with over 800 artists and designers.

You don’t need to be a blogger to understand how the maker movement has transformed us in the recent years. Homemade crafts, food, textiles and art are no longer a throwback to a previous time but are something that we consciously search out. So if you’ve never been to the One of a Kind Show, maybe it’s time you did. Where you’ll find such beautiful work there as the ones from these talented artists.

I love the OOAK show. I get to buy some presents for others but I most look forward to being able to get a little something for myself!
