There are several posts I’ve written that no matter how much time passes, I constantly get emails or questions about. Among the most popular is the story of the time we brought home the IKEA KARLSTAD sectional.
Let me just say, you all love your IKEA. Every single week I get search queries and questions about its Sivik Grey cover, the measurements of it and if it’s still as good as it was when we bought it (yes it is).
In fact here’s me snuggling up on it this month. Well my slippers at least but that’s one of the reasons we love it so much. Couches in our home are meant to be lived on and stretched out on and there is no such thing as too much leg room when you’re 5’11” and 6’2″.
But by far the most asked question has been “Is it possible to change the legs on the couch?” and/or “Where can one get different legs/feet for it?”
The answer is yes you can totally change the legs on the sectional. And the place I always recommend people check out for new legs is Pretty Pegs. Pretty Pegs is a Swedish company that was founded in 2012 by Mikael Söderblom and Jana Cagin who weren’t happy with the current leg options on the IKEA couches so they decided to create their own.
I had first heard about them when we were researching purchasing the couch and they have the coolest looking and customizable legs not just for the IKEA couches and sectionals, but also for a variety of other furniture including tables, storage, footstools and arm chairs.
Needless to say I am very happy to be partnering with them for a Giveaway!
One lucky reader will Win a Set of Pretty Pegs (up to a retail value of $100 USD) of their choice. You can use them on your existing IKEA couch, your future IKEA couch or why not DIY yourself a new project inspired by one of their great pegs.
